ExxonMobil has been an active and engaged member of the Greenpoint community for decades. The core ExxonMobil team dedicated to this remediation program is highly qualified and includes about 80 members, including engineers and geologists, staff specialists, and partner-consultants, supplemented by subcontractors providing support services.
ExxonMobil continually seeks ways to enhance the effectiveness of our remediation activities and will use this Web site to share information about our work in the Greenpoint community, as well as the remediation project.
Our goal is to remediate the petroleum contamination stemming from our historical operations in Greenpoint as quickly and safely as possible. The health, safety and welfare of those living and working in the Greenpoint community will continue to be ExxonMobil’s highest priority.
