ExxonMobil & Greenpoint

ExxonMobil takes its environmental remediation responsibilities seriously. Our goal is the same as the community's – to remediate the petroleum contamination stemming from our historical operations in Greenpoint as quickly and safely as possible. We will be in Greenpoint until the job is done and done right. Remediation projects such as the one in Greenpoint – where petroleum products are underground and not easily accessed – simply take time to complete, and remediation is expected to continue for a number of years. Throughout this time, the health, safety and welfare of those living and working in the Greenpoint community are our number one priority.
